Your responsibilities as a Sports Doctor with Essendon Sports Medicine will include:

Collaborate with a team of experienced sports physicians, titled sports physiotherapists, podiatrists, dietitians, and rehab specialists to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

Conduct thorough assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for sports-related injuries and conditions.

Provide expert medical advice on injury prevention, performance enhancement, and athlete wellness.

Perform procedures such as joint injections, minor surgical interventions, and pre-participation medical screenings.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation programs.

Contribute to ongoing research, education, and knowledge sharing within the clinic.
Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited institution.

Board certification or eligibility for certification in Sports Medicine.

Proven experience working as a Sports Doctor or in a related field.

Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Passion for sports medicine and staying updated on the latest advancements in the field.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.
