As part of the clinical services in this practice, Samantha is trained to make the appropriate diagnosis, and just as importantly, detect the causes or risk factors that lead to the development of the condition, to minimise the risk of recurrence.
She can arrange appropriate investigations from blood tests to ECG’s, and x-rays to complex imaging, including rebatable MRI scans.
Once the diagnosis is made, she will advise on treatment and arrange for the appropriate referrals. This may involve giving advice on injury or concussion management including the appropriate rehabilitation program, as well as the prescription of medications or the injection of joints under ultrasound guidance.
Where allied health and other medical specialist advice is warranted, she can arrange rapid referral to the appropriate practitioners.
