Matt’s journey to Physiotherapy began with a career in professional sport playing for the Sydney Swans and Carlton Football Clubs in the AFL, where he was exposed to elite level strength and conditioning management and elite sports physiotherapy.
This personal experience rehabilitating injuries of his own ensures that Matt knows what you are going through when injured, and how frustrating it can be. This drives him to help you achieve the fastest possible outcomes, utilising his expert skillset.
Following this AFL career, Matt completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at La Trobe University and then onto a Doctor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne.
Matt is able to help you with all lower limb musculoskeletal injuries, including helping you with prevention and rehabilitation of ankle, knee and hip injuries.
He also has a special interest in shoulder injuries, as well as landing, jumping and running based sports.
